As a locally owned and operated business, and as a resident of Colorado Springs, Miriam Jenson Photography wants to reach out and help those who lost memories, homes and security in the Black Forest Fires this month. The Jenson Family had a glimpse of what those who lost so much experienced as they had to evacuate their own home with just a few moments notice, forcing them to make quick decisions about what to bring with them and what to leave behind. Thankfully the Jensons are back in their home, safe and sound, but they haven't forgotten others who weren't so lucky.

With this in mind, Miriam Jenson Photography will give away a free session voucher for every session booked between now and July 1 (session does not have to take place within that time period) to a resident or family who lost their home in the Black Forest Fire. The booking client can either select a family to receive the gift, or Miriam Jenson Photography will find a worthy recipient. The only requirement is for recipients of free sessions be victims of the Black Forest Fire. Although the memories that many families lost in the fire cannot be replaced, this is our way of helping these families begin preserving new ones.

Miriam Jenson Photography is also tipping their hats to the heroes who protected the Colorado Springs community, saving their own home and many others. To offer thanks, any firefighter who worked in the Black Fires who books a session between now and July 1 will receive half off their session fee.

To book your session contact Miriam Jenson Photography at 719-231-9263.
